The Salem Parking Garage and Beverly Parking Garage projects were the first MBTA projects procured under the CM-at-Risk procurement method (M.G.L c. 149a). Caminiti Consulting provided recommendations for improvement to the Owner–Construction Manager Agreement, General Conditions specifications, and the CM-at-Risk procurement process. Additional services included the development of procedures for the approval of CM’s request for expenditure of construction contingency.
