Caminiti Consulting provided project management services for this $33 million project consisting of a new parking garage as well as improvements to the existing station. Our scope of work included assisting the MBTA and the CM-at-Risk with the development of a comprehensive Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) agreement that clearly defined costs, assumptions and qualifications, subcontractor bid packages scope of work, and general requirements, contract allowances, and general conditions costs. During construction, we provided advisory services to the MBTA related to approval of the CM’s request for expenditure of both construction and owner contingency.
