Caminiti Consulting provided project management and resident engineering services for the $50 million renovation which provides an airside connection from Terminal C to Terminal E.  This project includes multiple phases of construction under five separate design packages. The project was procured in accordance with Massachusetts General Law (MGL) Chapter 149a.

Services include assisting the CM-at-Risk with preparing work plans for site investigation and enabling work; reviewing the CM’s subcontractor scopes of work to facilitate cost control; specificity and coverage of project scope; risk assessments; and change order review and negotiation. Resident Engineer services included monitoring the construction manager’s and subcontractor’s adherence to the contract documents; coordination of quality assurance testing by an independent testing agency; review and negotiation of requisitions for payment and change orders; monitoring of extra work performed on time and materials; and coordination of construction activities with MPA departments, tenants, airlines, and adjacent contractors to ensure that the work does not interfere with airport operations.
